Default Day at the office in pictures

My charter for today was called into work so my fishing buddy Bobby and I decided to give it a try.

Strange----When you go to work what do you do? I go fishing! When you are off from work what do you do? I go fishing!

Picked up the ride at Capt Eddies house boat. Got ice and some live shrimp and headed off to another super secret spot. Was hoping to find the fish whisperer but he was no where to be found. Yesterday evening he talked to me. He wanted to chase redfish. I told him to follow a pass casting to the edge looking for redfish. I figured he could not get into too much trouble there as most of the pass is pretty open. That's what he did. Look for his report when he gets back home.

Once anchored up the bite was very slow with just enough to keep us there untill the trout found us. Bobbie got the first trout but the hook was in the wrong end of the fish. My first catch only had one arm.

She went back along with the other 2 we caught later. My first trout was a very good fish and we were on the board.

It wasn't long before I had Bobby put his rod down and net this very nice 28 inch redfish. It had shoulders on it and in the courant gave me a very good fight.

It was big trout

after big trout

ntill we had our 50. Left the dock at 9:00 and back at the dock at 1:00. I had the fish in a slury but once at the dock I pulled the plug and the fish got frozen in ice for the ride up the road to Bobbie's fish cleaning table.

Unloaded the catch in a wheel barrow to get them to the table.

A few more shots of the slobs and it was time to get to work.

The electric knife made for a quick, easy fish cleaning session.

Once all the fish were cleaned we devided the MEAT.

My share was almost 2 gallons of nothing but good tasteing meat.

Life is Good!

Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.
