Great Redfish/Trout Action!

After a great day on Thursday slamming the reds it was back to catching trout on Friday. No limits as we moved around searching other areas but a nice box nevertheless as we caught trout at every stop. Probably could have stuck it out and whacked them at our first stop as the fish were there with some good 18-21 inch trout. Numbers was not the game plan as we were "trading places" and had fun doing so! Most of our trout were caught on bunker swimbaits and cocaho 3 inch minnows on a 1/4 oz jighead. The trout were caught in 3-6 ft of water. After a day off on Saturday it was a "redfish bonanza" today. Hundreds of reds in the 49-50 degree water today! Easy limits and caught on anything plastic and with any color. After catching limits in only a couple hours we headed back to the dock. Second lowest water I've seen on the DU today in last 10 years. Only a handful of trout today but should be better tomorrow as it warms up. More details and pics later. Good luck fishing.
