Default 3-7-13 Big Lake ..

Made a nice trip with Chris Reed yesterday, weather was great, winds were light, we had a big incoming tide and the water looked nice up north which made for a successful trip, thanks to Reed for turning me own to the mirrodine XL with his secrete color, them trout smashed them sucka's, lots of fun. We tried top for a while and had a handful of blowups they just weren't mad at the top, water needs to come up a few more degrees and they going to get mad at them top baits, unfortunately though i'll be in Canada working till July so i'll be back for the summer bite! Going out again this afternoon with Reed to try for some more, maybe that top bite will turn on for us today!
