Default 3/15-16 bl

Spent the last 2 windy days on BL with The Bolivar Kid. Wind was humpin both days. Friday was kinda a slow but I tore him up. Today, however, The Bolivar Kid was on 'em. Released 3 over 5 and kept a 6 that swallowed his Corky. I was too over served from Friday to worry about catching anything but a nap. Can't pick a better person to put on fish. Fun times as always.

They did to us. Cut our drifts off twice. Like they followed us or something

Nothing on top. Switched from broke back corky to a floater.....BAM. First cast 3 seconds after it hit the water. Biggest one of the day.
What a way to end a memorable trip.

awesome fish and trip!

I read on bassmaster awhile back that most pros keep a bottle of mountain dew in their boat, and when they hook a fish in the gills and its bleeding they pour some down the fishes throat. Somehow or another the whatever is in mountain dew helps to heal the fish rapidly, which in turn saves the pro some costly ounces during weigh in. I always wondered why a bunch of pros are always drinking mountain dew...
