Braved the strong wind and dirty water in the spring staging areas. Tough times even with a strong incoming tide. Didn't even break double digits and had to keep a few 12s.
Got lucky and spied one gull working some bait in a bayou connecting a bay. Grinded out eight of the nine in that spot in an hour to dirty the ice, one on top, one on mirrodine and rest on 1/4 oz deadly dudley bay choveys. Thoughts and prayers to Dudley as he recovers from quad bypass late last week.
Good to get out on the water and ready to get in the main bays and play with the big girls.
