Pretty much, civil rights act protects against discrimination but I don't think it technically covers sexual orientation. Thing that gets me is ACLU jumping on board to protect the gays rights (I have nothing against gays) but what about protecting the woman's religious beliefs.

Yeah, what about the ACLU helping to protect our 2d Amendment rights? Seems they are never up for that fight.

I guess the argument is that sexual orientation is protected the same as race?
