Drove a herd of cattle from Near FWC north to Pecan.... Every car on the side of the road said they was catching some big ole' crabs!!! Guess its about that time!

It's not too bad when ever the driver listens to us and stays rite behind the horse....otherwise when we lead them through they just close back in front of them....

Thinking about heading down there this weekend. Can I get some advice on good spots? Do I bring my boat or leave it home and fish off of the bank? I read some info about rollover area.

My wife and I launched at Joseph Harbor yesterday. Fished at the LSU weir, 5 reds and 4 dozen crabs from about 7:00 till 1:00. Crabs were small to med but full. Sorry do not have tapatalk to post pics. Only 3 boats at the launch. Saw a couple of cars on the side the road, don't know if they caught crabs though.

crabbed last evening and this a.m. Bite was nice, but gators were ravenous. Good news was that they were good size, bad news was that gators kept stealing my baits.
