Not a bad day for an unprepared trip

Hit the amite river this morning looking to run the boat and wet a line. Was totally unprepared to catch anything(since I never do). First spot we stop start catching big shad on little sacalait spinners. then caught one sac, then a bass, and another bass. then it was on. we started tearing em up. nothing huge but definitely had a few decent ones in the mix. As I said we were totally unprepared. We ended up using the bow line as a stringer since we had nothing else with us. We even impressed the game warden. He said he just knew we were illegal cuz he hadnt seen that many fish come off this river in years.
Ended with 17 bass, 11 sacs, 5 stripers, and 2 bream.

Oh and the first time really using the ipilot...thing is SICK. In love for sure.
