We enjoyed some great fishing last weekend on the DU! The speckled trout fishing was phenomenal to say the least with big numbers of fish caught every day. On Thursday everyone enjoyed a great trout bite with most of the fish caught mostly on plastic. Clayton Breaux and the Seacor Marine team had 6 boats with 2 customers per boat. All boats were pretty much limited out before 10:00am. Seatrax and Weatherford had 2 boats each and E&E Machine had 1 boat which accounted for 720 trout being caught that one day alone. The Bayou Chub Minnow was very productive like always with the LSU,Cajun Pepper and Chick On A Chain getting the job done. The weather could not have been better with only a light chop on the open gulf. Big thanks to Capts Ricky Brondum,Gerald & Josh Ellender,Brady Giroir,Rodney Bourque,Travis Lovell,John Haller,Joseph Lamy,John Falterman and Jonathan Allen for helping out with the trip. You guys get the job done!!!
