Drop Shot Rig

Been hearing a lot about a people using drop shot rigs for trout. Anyone have any info on how to set up one of these?

tie a hook and a weight on opposite end of a length of leader (2.5 feet or so). Measure 2/3 of it on the weight side and a third on the hook side and do a double overhand knot. Tie main line to the loop made by the overhand knot.
