Default Today probably cost me 9k

Had one of those days. My wife and daughter have been on me to bring them fishing. We were going to go yesterday but the weather kept me at home so we went to dularge this morning. We followed the storm out to the islands. Hooked up on a few before the seas got to bad. My daughter was feeling a little woozy so I figured the 2 to 3 foother were greeting to her so we headed in. Made a stop at the pass going out to the bay and caught 40+ 11 1/2 fish. Managed to keep 10 specks and 5 reds. On the way in the fun started. Made it about 5 miles from the landing when the botor revs up and boat slows. Lower unit slipped. Pulled it out of gear and put it back in gear and all it does is grind. Think it may be the after effects of whatever i hit under the GI bridge a few weekends ago Manage to get pulled in and get the boat on the trailer. Headding home the truck sputters for a second and starts running fine. Well we got about half way up the Amelia bridge on hwy90 and I loose power and look in the mirror and all I see is a huge cloud of smoke. Not good. So looks like I need a new lower unit and injector job on the truck.
