Default Shrimp in Cameron
Is there any place that sells live shrimp in Cameron? I want to launch my boat at the jetties in the morning and take my boy out fishing but I am not aware of any place down there to get bait

If you have an insulated livewell you could probably get some this afternoon. Just make sure there's lots of water and you park the boat in the shade

Haven't been in a long time. But there's a next to monkey island ferry called The Crab Man who sold live shrimp. Don't know if he still does.

Where is the launch at the Ferry? I don't think I have seen it going down 27.

Crab man is still open. The shop is located in Cameron, right off the hwy.

Yes he has live shrimp, just stopped last week to get ice there. He opens around 6. Number I have for him is 337-775-5188.

Yes, he is on the water too. take the cut on the north side of Monkey Island and he will be on the left right next to the Monkey Island ferry dock.

FYI, called Crabman, they don't have any live shrimp or crabs. They ran out.
