Default Belle River

First g to Belle River..renting a camp there in Pierre Part.

Please help! We don't know where to go or anything. Is there a grocery store or bait shop in town? I am bringing my bay boat (21' but it doesn't draft deep) and it has a nice chartplotter. Also brining a little 14' bateau. Any advice on where to try would be great. going for bream and cats mainly

There are a few stores there most sell bait. The gas stations sell bait too. I have heard people are catching catfish on worms. Other than that I haven't heard where.

Man yall are the best! My Dad doesn't get to do this much so realy would like to get him on something...he loves bream and catfish so that will be the main target. I may throw a ribbit over some grass for bass. I have a good gps so I can go anywhere so long as its 2ft deep or more and wide enough for a bay boat

Lots of catfish being caught in the Lake V. Just use nightcrawlers under a cork about 2 feet deep around the cypress tress. Once you find one or two stay put. You shouldn't have a problem they are biting well right now.

Default Belle River

Had a blast in Belle River area. Caught about 25 nice bream right in Belle River and 16 cats in Lake Verret. Went out to some of the local bars and heard some great music (Stevie G's). looking forward to a return trip!
