Cheers Fourchon Oilmans Day 2 Slam

Day two at the Fourchon Oilmans with BISSO Marine. I had five boats running again today, and it was as good as it gets. Fast n furious action at our first stop. We iced down fifty trout then the bite shut down. Made one more move and it was all she wrote. Every cast in any direction you threw. Once we had our 100 trout in the K2, we hit the red and bay snapper hole. The water was crystal clear like a swimming pool. You could see the bottom in eight ft of water. We caught 3 reds but the bay snapper would not bite. We could see them but they would not take the bait. Double rigged Matrix Shad is the only baits we needed to hammer the trout. Any color we threw they would slam. It was a incredible two days of fishing to say the least. We had close to 1000 (if not more) fish hit the tables, just doesn't get any better. Huge thanks to Roy Buchler and Eric Hellbach with BISSO for setting everything up.

Our three boats that trout fished all limited with 350 trout. The other two boats focused on reds, but still added another 45 trout.

Big thanks to Capts Travis, Chris, Anthony, and Joel for putting their crews on the fish.
