Default V Bay 8-3

Well, even though the tide wasnt moving good in the AM i went anyway. fished SW pass, Pavys reef, Bayou Michael, and dry reef. water was great in the pass, and saw a bunch of the floating seaweed. water improved as the morning wore on. ended up with a dozen trout, we caught at every stop but they were real spotty, probably because of the tide. if the river stays down we should see the specs moving in.

Did anyone fish the afternoon?

No weather gooh, this was sat morning, it was damn hot. there were some showers around but none near me. i would have welcomed the rain and a cooldown.

Haoward, one thing that has made a huge difference was getting a good columbia omni wick shirt (long sleeve) and a buff head and neck protector. they make dealing with the heat tolerable and it doesnt wipe you out as bad. well worth the $$$...
