I love Caminada pass. Great place to run with the bulls. Some of our best fishing this year has been chasing bulls in da pass. Great article. We need to try more who crab when the hardheads eat up the cracked drab.

The Cameron jetties (Calcasieu pass) has been on fire this summer. I think we've averaged over four bull reds every trip. More gafftops in Calcasieu pass, including three fish just entered in the top 10 state record book. Caminada pass has more hardheads and fewer gafftops.

Mrs. MathGeek made drum kabobs for dinner with some bull reds we caught recently. Alternating redfish chunks and peach slices on a skewer with a coating of a sweet garlic sauce then grilled on the barbecue. Great stuff.
