Solo Hunt 11.17.13 1st Banded Duck

Made a quick hunt yesterday around 1040am. GF said to bring the dog. I was hesitant because he's never been on a real hunt and I was afraid he would scare all the ducks. Boy was I wrong.... Drake stayed behind me the entire time. He was AMAZING. All the work I've been doing with him has finally paid off. Got on the 4-wheeler and made my way to the creek. Went through the field and seen a big fox squirrel. One shot rolled it and Drake retrieved it.... Good start to a hunt right ?? It got even better...... Made my way to the creek to my honey hole. Hit the Wood Duck call from Duck Commander.... Heard them squeak back.... Seen the ripples and knew they were there. Drake got antsy and jumped in the creek and spooked the ducks. I shot a hen and a drake with 1 shot. The other drake hauled tail. Hit the Wood duck call again and he came buzzing back in and I knocked him down. Here are ALOT of pics and a video of Drake retrieving the banded duck. Was definately a hunt to remember
