Great in skinny water, by 2-3 ft bay waters do you mean water depth? If so that's what this boat is made for.

If you mean depth yes, If you mean waves no...my 24ft triton LTS isnt fun in 2-3ft waves, unless they are spread far apart

I have the X22 bay which has the same hull as the boat you referenced and it rides fine in a chop. DO NOT GET THE HD HULL. Also, If i get beat up in it you do not need to be fishing unless you are a die hard. However, REAL 2-3 waves will pound your butt even in a fiberglass bay boat.

Yes, I did mean 2-3' seas. I fished in a "heavy" glass 21' Sailfish and wished I'd worn a kidney belt.. Wind out the north 10-15 mph, white caps 10-15' apart. Too rough for a 22' express hyper lift hull? And how well are they made? I have heard it is a fairly popular bay boat in southern Louisana. I have just been fishing the gas well platforms in Mobile bay, not quite a large as Lake Ponch. but no skinny inland marshes. Express has also put out a shsllow bay series with a tunnel transom and floatation pods.. Any comments?

Had a X22. Fine boat for fishing the basin and ok for Toledo bend. The express line is not meant for 2-3's. If you can take the ride 1-2's at best.
