Default Shimano Rod Warranty ?

I bought a brand new Shimano Crucial a while back from "Railside "
In Broussard and broke it on the first hook set. It came with a lifetime warranty tag on it but I don't have a receipt. ( still have warranty tag ) I have heard people say they have the best warranty and stores swap out no problem. Shine some light on this for me if any of you know.

I know at Lake Charles tackle you walk in with a broken Lifetime shimano rod and they exchange it then and there no questions asked. No receipt or anything needed.

I wonder if my rod would be considered broken... My reel seat doesn't hold my reel on any more! I've tried everything I could to keep it tight, but every time I cast or set the hook I can feel my reel wiggle
