Cheers Spectacular Trout Fishing 1-27-14

Robby Leblanc, Dave Nicholason, and Flute Gautreau were back onboard the big Bluewave with me today. Trout was on the menu and man did they cooperate!! The trout have been elusive lately but today they were eating up our Matrix and Vortex Shad like there was no tomorrow!!!! We found the fish stacked up in 2-4 ft of water and they wanted the baits at a slow steady retrieve drifting in the current. It was a extremely soft bite early (only feeling tension on your line). As it warmed up and the current switched the fish were more aggressive. We added 5 reds to our 100 trout and left the fish biting. Turned out to be one incredible day, as we dodged the rain and loaded the K2. Great time fishing with these guys again, and I look forward to their return. Thanks again.
