Fishing around LC this weekend?

Myself, my dad, and my sister will be in LC this weekend. Had original planned on hitting BL but it looks like the wind will be terrible. I was wondering if there was somewhere around LC where we could maybe hide from the wind a little and maybe catch some white perch or bass? Not opposed to saltwater advice either though!

Salt water....in the I-20 area you can get out of the wind and fish along the drop-offs.

Sunday winds should be much calmer.

I-210? Meaning the bridge, I guess. I've tried a number of times, but never really rocked at the bridge. Is there a technique I'm missing?

I mean anywhere in the general area. +/- a couple of miles.

Usually fishing along the drop offs, but sometimes fishing closer to the bank is good.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification. I'll use the sonar to find the drop offs.

I usually toss bait out into deeper water, let it fall, and bounce it up the slope.

Or......throw bait out parallel to drop off and slowly bounce it back to the boat.
