Default 11 lb trout's last (real) meal

Fifteen inch trout taken from belly. Assuming Texas fish, maybe Florida.

ChrisD, I tried to put her back, I sat on the side of the road trying to revive her but to no avail. That said, I took plenty of measurements and will have a replica mount made, and she will be our family meal for Easter Sunday. Trust me the icing on the cake to catching a trout like this would have been to watch her swim off, but to be honest I was ill-prepared. I caught her in Corpus.

Funny you say that, because that is the color pattern Top Dog I caught her on! You might be able to see the spots in the picture. I've also attached a close up picture of the trout being 15"...In short I was amazed!

Thanks for the support everyone...I hope y'all have a Happy Easter!

I appreciate it guys...I do like to keep my fair share, mostly because my two little guys love fried fish, but I do like to release the bigger girls. Like I said, I really wanted her to swim off.
