Cheers Die Hards Battle the Du 4-27-14

Leroy & Jacques Boutin were back onboard with me today. Tony and Anthony Ashy joined in on the fun also!! These guys are die hard fisherman. After talking yesterday evening discussing today's conditions, the guys wanted to go no matter what. No problem (not scared of a challenge!!), as the wind won't stop us from putting fish in the boat. We fished the first few hours of the morning for trout only finding one kamikaze trout (lock jaw today). We quickly switched to plan B, and in no time the guys had bent poles and screaming drags. The reds and puppy drum did not disappoint. Bait shrimp under a cork had the K2 filling up quickly. The wind was pumping 35-40 mph blowing us out the honey hole, so we retreated into the crystal clear ponds. No problem, the golden beauties could not resist out Tiger Matrix Shad and we continued to fill up the K2. We called it quits around 1pm and headed to the lodge to clean all the fish. Great group of guys and I enjoyed fishing with them. Thanks again guys.
