This comment about sums it up. I think it's a cool idea to try and incorporate our culture back into everyday life, but c'mon man! Passing a law about it and using funds that are already being stretched to the limits for a damn sign!

As a born and raised Louisiana citizen, I can assure you that I would rather funds be spent fixing these raggedy streets then unnecessarily replacing perfectly good street signs.

I am all for heritage preservation as well, but to spend time and money on passing these "laws" is rediculous. Same goes for the I'm Cajun driver's license, absolute waste of time.

x2....this state has a lot more bigger problems to deal with then changing out signs...c'mon Man.....
