Default T-Top & Leaning Post Build/Modification in Lake Charles area

I am picking up a used bay boat and I would like to make some changes to the t-top (structural changes) and possibly have a leaning post built/added to the boat. Currently has a cooler seat. Anyone do this kind of work in the Lake Charles area? Does it make more sense to sell current t-top and buy a new one more like I am wanting? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I know it is not in LC but it would be worth the trip to get an opinion from Sterling's in New Iberia. They have done work on several boats we have owned and built a T-top on our Blue-wave 24 that was about 30% cheaper and of a better quality/appearance than the factory one available.
