Big Lake 11/27/09

Got out on the water today with jlincecum and my bro-in-law. We didn't set the world on fire, but we had a dang good time. Birds were all over but weren't working very hard. Somali Bird Pirates were out in full force causing mayhem all over the place...Some people just have no clue and we had one guy practically boarding other boats in the great bird hunt.

Started off in Turners and moved mid lake, only to finish the day back at Turners. Color seemed to matter a bit more today and we took most of the fish on glow and firetiger Jerk Jr's, although my bro-in-law did manage to reel one in on a N.O. special tandem rig - owe him $20 for that one!!

Jlincecum caught the trophy of the day - for all I know it may be in the Mother Plucker...

W Not yet They came in yesterday after I'd already been out fishing . Plan on sliding out tommorrow afternoon.Planning on adding a little ticking noise to it and making an assortment of 2/0 and 3/0 various weight size lead heads.Sometimes the personal touch may enhance the performance of the bait.
