Grand Chenier 1/22/2015

Made my final hunt in Grand Chenier Thursday solo. Very few birds and nothing decoying, only pass shots. Enede up with 6 birds, 2-Ruddy, 1-Red Head, 1-Grey, 1-Scaup and a bonus Snow Goose. He was lost for sure. Flying about 3' above the water and passed within 10' of the blind. I didn't even think it was a goose at first, then when I realized it was one he was right on me. Had to let him get out from me before I shot. Oh well better to be lucky then good.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. You have the makings for a good gumbo right there, I think more geese were killed in our marsh this year than all the previous years I have been in it.
