Default Little Lake Charles

Me and the family wanted to go camping, so we decided on little lake charles cause ive never been. I hook up the fifth wheel and drove up there for five days. The camp ground was nice but the road getting in was a mess, alot of pot holes and the camp sites need a little work. For from that we had a nice trip. We took off to the ponds and went fishing. The water was so clear you can see all the fish moving and chasing bait (bass and bream) we didnt catch much because of the weather but we managed to bring in two nice ones. We didnt know it was a catch and release pond, oh well we through them back. All the bass was caught on a rapala suspending swimbait.

We just bought a 34' camper last month as well. We were talking about bringing our boys camping out there for a few days, was wondering how the fishing was out there for the kids.

They would have a blast, the fishing is good just bring some dark color lures. The pool and water slide would be fun for them. Just plan it on a sunny day.

May do this soon. I'm always up for a fun little bank fishing trip for bass. Pond seemed stocked well?
