Default Foggy foggy day 12-13-09

Yesterday, my dad, Tim (dink), and I went try to get on some specs and arrived to a VERY VERY VERY foggy lake. Fished under some birds early in the day getting our butt kicked by my dad with his professional popping cork techniques, me and tim could not get a good tight line bite for nothing. Bite slowed fast around turners and we wanted to go to west cove, because of the incoming tide and the luck with reds i have with it. We stuck it out until around 2:00(i think) and the fog rose up a little and we were able to run to west cove. Got into West Cove and the redfish bite was ON!! BIG TIME! We had quite a few doubles and even a couple of triples! With nearly every other cast hooking into a big red! Must of caught a good 40 of these reds and we didn't even notice the fog coming back in thick. We only had one trout to go for our limit which we picked up on the way in around turners. Ended up being a pretty good day even with the crappy fog conditions. I only have one pic that i took with my phone of the first set of reds we had coming in.

I will try my hardest! lol I need to learn where to fish during these cold winter months though. It will be my first winter ever fishing Big Lake, and I'm looking forward to learning all I can.
