Default Big Lake 9/6 & 9/7

Had my brother in law come in for the weekend. We went out early Sunday morning and had to work for them but ended up with thirty trout by 11:00. Tides weren't great but the fish cooperated. Had a great time. There were a few chunks in the mix.

Then Monday it was a pleasure to have Mr. Seeing Spots, in my boat. But, filling the box was a little harder. Not sure why the bite was off but it was. After a long, but fun day we finished with 26.

Water temp was noticeably cooler on Monday. 72 deg. At dawn.

Best bait, spec colored Skitter walk.

It was a fun day! Not as fast as we would have liked but a good trip. Anytime you can catch on top water is a plus. We had some violent explosions but none that were really big. I hope to get back there and do it again.
