I used to use them things all the time. Good bait but I had a red pull one apart and I stopped using them when I lost a big trout between the rocks at East Timbalier because the bait came apart. Maybe they've fixed that problem.

I caught a 6 and a 5 with a gold/char on tee butte a couple summers ago,never had a problem with it pulling apart.

I ain't sayin' they're bad baits 'cause they ain't. I fished 'em for a good many years but, that particular day, my buddy was catchin' good fish on a jointed Bomber. When the Storm came undone.....I said hell with 'em.
