Odd Fish Pics
I thought this looked somewhat like our Salty Cajun Emblem...but more marlin like:  IMG_0863.jpg IMG_0864.jpg This is an Opah...rarely caught but great eating: opah-fish.jpg

Bathynomus giganteus
Boil for 10 minutes with corn, potatoes, and green beans and serve with drawn butter and Cane's Dipping Sauce....You'll need a big hammer to crack the shell....
 I only eat the females....full of fat....plus the males are even uglier...

Oh almost forgot...caught 45 of these in Prien Lake on Sparkle beetles and corkies just south of 210 in windy fresh water conditions ... The fresher the better!
