Default Got a question for the people that buy fishing gear or anything online.

So I ordered a reel online because there wasnt a store around my area that carried it. The reel came out of Katy,Tx (keep in mind I live in Beaumont), I have the insurance/tracking # and it was supposed to arrive today. I call the post office and they track it down and its all the way up in New York!
The lady contacts the Office that has it scanned in New York and made sure my address was on it and it was, neither of them could figure out why it went all the way up there.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Before you ask, no I did not have time to go and pick it up from Katy. Looks like I should have made time though

nah. dont let it discourage you. It has nothing to do with online purchasing. Just a screw up on the post offices part. could have happened if you mailed a letter. one person makes a mistake in the sorting line and next thing ya know your package is in a bundle with tons of others going across the country

Still dealing with people and computers, both make mistakes.

I've only had one issue in the past year and it was an honest mixup. Of course when you are WAITNG on the item and need it, there will always be a glitch.

Hope you get it soon.

Never has a major problem. Slow service.....Yes.

I ordered something a couple of weeks ago.....it took a week for them to update it to "Processing". What ever that really means. I hope it has been shipped by now.

I ordered something a few months ago online. It took me several weeks [I never could get in contact with this company] to finally learn that the company was no longer selling that item. They were quick to take my money and keep the money until my credit card company finally got it back.
