Default Vegetable Garden

Anybody in here make a vegetable garden. I made a small one about 2 or 3 years ago with some scaffold boards and filled it with soil. Grew cucumbers almost year round out of it. Today I went rent a tiller and made me a garden about 4 times bigger than what I had. I'll make the rows tomorrow and plant after Easter. I'll have 5 rows about 25 feet long, plan on doing some Okra, Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers (although i've never had luck with them) Cucumbers and some egg plants.

Tilled my garden up yesterday and today. I use my 4' 2" tiller implement on the back of my diesel John Deere tractor. Tilling is easy and fast.

Re worked my garden 2 weeks ago for my little boy to plant. Its made out of concrete blocks stacked 2 high 6 x 18. Went and got me some of that premium blend organic dirt at Gott's in the berry. Man that grows some premium vegetables. Planted last week. Got a few tomatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper, sweet banana peper, carrots ,green onions, bush beans and new potatoes. covered everything tonight with some cheese cloth in case of frost the next couple of nights.

I usually have the best luck with bell peppers. I have no idea why but I grow some prettt bells. Spray them to keep the bugs off and cross your fingers.

I may try one out this year. Can't beat some good home grown cucumbers and jalepenos. Never tried sweet potatoes, I wouldn't mind some good sweet taters in the back yard!

I made a garden 2 years ago. It is a lot of work....and still is, to get it to grow things well. I am ready to till it up again and get the spring stuff planted. I did not have any good picture of the Cucumbers and pole beans.

make a raised garden, put some cinder blocks or scaffold boards and fill it with soil and go from there, it is really easy to control and grows stuff well
