Default stereo speakers mounted?

Where are your stereo speakers mounted on your boat? I have a pair on the side of the console (most common), but want to add another pair so I can hear it better while driving. I'm thinking in the front on the wall of the front deck as 1st choice or maybe wall of back deck?

I have mine on the wall of the front deck so that I can hear it while driving, they work out real good right there.

No radio on my bay boat.
On my offshore boat, I had them mounted on the console, just below the steering wheel, facing the driver.

I have 2 of them mounted in front of livewell in console, 2 of them on side of console and 2 mounted on the side of the boat in the rear. Can hear music anywhere in the boat without having to crank the volume to high.

Get one of these and ZIP TIE to the grab handle on top of console.
Man, I really amaze myself with the solutions I come up with.

Chas you need to look and see if you can fish your wires through your hull on the bow and stern. Ease of installation would be the determining factor for me, front or back should sound good.

Had some 6x9's on our ole Hydra Sports facing the console from the front deck....could hear it easily and clear... that was with the louder 2 stroke. I think if you just have them facing ya from somewhere in the front...you be jammin' wit no worries mahn!
