Default Terrapins
A friend of mine is a biolagist in the SW LA area. They been catching Terripins on Rabbit Island in West Cove in Hoop Nets. I grew up in Hackberry and never knew these turtles lived in this area. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share the pictures with everyone.

Terrapins are cool little dudes man. Watched one of them come out of the marsh behind a beach on Rockefeller and high tail it to the gulf. Saw the same one come out of the gulf about a mile down the beach. Pretty cool.

They eat fiddler crabs and snails. They are a brackish water turtle. They caught these when we had a bunch of rain a few months ago.
