I saw this on the way back from Johnson Bayou Wednesday afternoon around 3:30-3:45. I couldn't stop and check it out cause I was running late getting back to Sulphur. It appeared to be bull reds washed up on the beach. When I was heading back down here this morning I stopped. Of the smell was horrendous but I counted over 20+ bull reds on the beach. I even found some catfish but mainly all big bull reds. Ratdog would've had another meltdown seeing all the wormy meat going to waste. Any else seen this or have seen this before. It was probably an area a mile long. I'll check to be more accurate on the way back. But just one little area had well over 20+ reds. Just curious what would cause this. Really. That's weird how that can happen. What causes that? I'm not scholar nor do I pretend to be one. Just a joke.

Its caused by an algae bloom offshore that depletes the OX level's, that why we need tropical storms, to mix up the water, cool it off so you don't have problem like this.
