4/1 Big Lake

Tough day on the lake. Had some buddies from N La come down. Put in at Calc Pt and no plug for the boat to be found anywhere. Had to run all the way back to Cormies and get a plug. Got to Turner's and got 4 blowups real quick and caught 2 nice trout then nothing. Around noon or so the wind went slack and the water was slick as glass so did some boat riding and headed south exploring. Wind kicked back up a bit and we hit the salt ditch and caught 2 reds and 2 flounder and then went back to Turner's and caught 7 or so specks on glow Sand Eels, one right at 6 lbs. Will upload some pics when they send them to me. Met a SC Member Saute at Cormies Friends got to take back some meat, so not too bad

You did better than me in Turners... Tried for a couple hrs yesterday morning and NADA!!! Didnt see anybody catching there, even tho water was pretty. Flatfish were calling my name so hit the ship channel instead and got 10 floundoos.
