sabine island?

can anyone tell me how the duck hunting is on sabine island wma? i'm always looking to extent my hunting range and have never been there!
also has anyone ever hunted the whitelake lottery? is it worth the money to hunt there?

White lake, yes! Been there and have friends that use to work the old system. Awesome hunting from the pics I've seen and the one hunt I've made!

i live a mile for the north end of sabine island and i made one hunt and didnt see a duck. not to say they arent around because i have hammered woodies in the past. coming from eunice id say its not worth the drive to kill 3 wood ducks and go home. no variety on species that i have ever seen besides one group of green wing teal 3 years ago.

White lake. Yes. Had a buddy that guided for them for several years and another bud that guided for them last season. If you get in on a hunt there, you will kill birds.
