I don't have much experience with cold weather fishing. Normally when its this kind of cold, I'm hunting somethin, not thinking about fishing. Anyway, I'm thinking about running to the basin Thursday. Wondering what this cold weather does to the bite. Prolly gonna target bream, but might try for some bass too.
Any advice? Do the fish shut down with this kind of crazy weather? |

I think by then the bite will be back, but with the cold they will have moved a little deeper.
I'm just a guy though. |

Lmao!! I'm torn right now. I don't know if I ought to just go sit in the office and save my vacation time, go try and catch some fish, or go try and blast a thunderchicken. Fishing sounds the most productive of any.

one cold night will not have a big impact on water temps. If your fishing the next morning you might need to slow down your presentation a bit.. but other than that... no problems.
