Louisiana Hunting Rules?

I'm new to Louisiana and need some input. Rather than trying to decipher lingo online from the state I'll get it straight from the guys first hand. First off, am I allowed to predator hunt/hog hunt at night? Am I allowed to throw out corn or hog wild type substances and hunt off it? Most of this hunting will be done by bow. Thanks for any help!

Private land you can hunt pretty much like you want.....Public land , no night ,no bait, wait till dove or nutria open in sept. and use heavy fine shot......go to la dept wlf . gov its all explain there.....

You can hunt at night on private land. You have to give the parish sheriff's office a 24 hour notice. And no night hunting once the first hunting season begins, I think at the end of August.
