Rough Hunt

Took my 6 yr old out for a hunt armed with his early Christmas present; his first pellet gun. We walked up slowly in the fog only to find the blind floating on top the levee!!! That's a first for me.

Undeterred we decided to hunker down in the rosseau cane and be patient. Manged to find two snow geese decoying a little lower than they wanted; folded one and winged the other.
Ended the hunt with one snow and two merganzers. I wasn't to upset being we didn't have a blind to hunt in.

I love bringing my boy; that smile says it all.
