Catahoula Lake Status

I know the Appeals Court held in December of 2018 that Catahoula lake was private ground. Can anyone tell me if there has been any change to that status and if hunting is still allowed?

if you had a patient deed it was upheld finally. Never could understand if my grandfather purchased land from the state in 1893 and paid property tax for over 100 years and still do how they could flood over you and claim its state property.
