Artificial reef bill
If I stand correct we passed a bill that would protect all of our artificial reefs from any type of commercial use such as oystering
Here is a question ? Are crabbers allowed to place crab traps over artical man made reefs ? ( since we pretty much ran off all the CCA sunshine pumpers from the site ) Anyone know ?

When was this bill passed? Are you referring to the bill passed in the recent election?

I don't know about that but I wish there was some kind of regulation that prevented them from blocking the mouth of every bayou or canal in existence. Every time I go in and out of one its like navigating a mine field. VBay is insane.

Section 8, the most recent one passed Nov 4.
http://www.nola.com/outdoors/index.s...give_arti.html When it passed it added the section 10.11, spelled out in the next link. http://ballotpedia.org/Louisiana_Art...t_8_%282014%29 Last edited by capt coonassty; 12-03-2014 at 09:23 AM. |
