Buying 1/4 or 1/2 of a cow
Anyone have a recommendation on the best place to buy a quarter or half of a cow and where to have it processed if that isn't done by the seller? I am in lake Charles but the places don't have to be too close since I don't mind road tripping.

Check with Bob (Meaux Fishing). He and his family raise organic beef southwest of Lafayette. Really good beef!

MeauxFishing on here raises grass fed cattle, I cooked some last night and picked some more up yesterday. Brokshire Farms is the web site, I'm sure he will chime in soon. |

I saw that one online when I was searching around. I will definitely check them out. Thanks.

Break it down price per pound if your trying to save a buck. You'll find there's not much of a price break, if any at all.

Buying 1/4 or 1/2 of a cow
It works out to be right around $8/lb if you're buying from me. It will get processed at Elliot's in Morse. Pm me your number if you have any questions. I may be sold out for the fall though, I'm not sure. If you look on the website there is a break down of approximately what cuts you will get. Brookshirefarm.com
