Duck plucking
Just curious. Who would get their ducks plucked in the Lafayette and surrounding areas for 3$/duck or goose? Know someone looking to possibly do it this year and just wanted to get ppls opinions. It would be plucked gutted and packaged in ziplocks and put on ice for customer. Customer would pick up in surrounding areas. He may travel as well. Not sure yet depends on how it goes locally.

$3 a goose is cheap... I pluck my own birds mostly unless I feel lazy that day.

Need more replies. 3$ washes both species, usually it's 2.50/duck but doing it 3$ for both helps. So you don't have two different prices. I think anyways

A lady in rayne does it for $1.50/teal and $2.00/big duck.. She lives in the hood and don't advertise. One of my buddies works with her brother and told me about her.

Don't be giving our cleaning lady's info out. I don't want her to get to swamped!

I am particular about my ducks and have found duck cleaning services normally do a half *** job. If you can provide a service where you can put the ducks straight into the freezer that would be a huge benefit.
