Default Boat names

I'm thinking of a name for my boat which is a 20' catamaran inshore fishing boat with a yamaha 300.

Conservative names so far:
Krankin' Kitty
City Kitty

Funny names:
Slimy Sacs
Hittin' Bottom

My humble boat's name is "MathGeek Trout Machine" more in reference to freshwater trout which we have become very good at catching. I'm still growing in my skills wrt specks. We may need to rename her as an inshore deal.

I lean toward names which include a hint about the target and use rather than the type of boat or how much it costs. Thus for me, all the "Cat...." type names suggest catfishing, and you might as well name her

"Hardhead Misery"

I'd recommend something more suggestive of speckled trout or redfish.

When we hit LA, maybe we'll change the name of our boat to "Little Drummer Boy." This would reflect both the common target species as well as hint at the faith with which we pursue our stewardship over creation.

Just to explain my side, Ain't nothin wrong with freshwater catfish. My boat is a catamaran. I fish fresh and salt. But I see what you're saying.

I agree. I probably bring home more catfish than anyone I know, including hardheads, gafftops, channels, and flatheads. I find no shame in a mess of catfish. I just thought I'd point out the possibility of taking it that way.

Come to think of it, maybe I'll try and work in Hardhead into my boat's new name. It'd be a double entendre.
