Great Redfish Action!
Redfish Bonanza On The DU!
Enjoyed 2 good days of whacking the redfish 'DOWN IN DULARGE'! Capt Travis Lovell had a great group of guys from Mississippi and they needed a redfish fix. I fished with Jason Crews, Tyler Harrison, and Roger Rinewalt both days and the guys busted up the reds with limits each day. Both days we got off to a quick start putting a dozen fish on ice each morning during the first 30 minutes before the bite tapered off. We had to pick at the fish the remainder of the morning to finish up. Reds were caught from 16-26in as I don't think we had a fish go over 27 inches both days. Plenty of boats out on the water with the Hercules fishing rodeo in full swing this weekend. Thanks Capt Travis for the nice trip and I'm sure these guys will be looking to come back soon.
