Dularge Fishing
Big fun on the DU this weekend with Richard Mills and his crew from Mississippi. They booked 4 boats as Richard came down to their camp in Fishermans Retreat with his sons 11 yr old football team. I've never seen so many young boys pumped up and ready to catch fish! Plenty of excitement to go round for sure. Our plan was to bust up the trout for a few hours and then take the boys to tackle bull reds & drum. Thats exactly what we did and although the guys had fun reeling in trout, the big fish action won hands down! They couldn't get enough of the line stretching brutes as I know they all slept good that night! The boys caught loads of fish including speckled trout,white trout,redfish,sheepshead,bull reds,bull drum,channel mullet and of course a few hard heads! Big thanks to Capts Travis Lovell,Gerald Ellender and Rob Dupont for helping to make this trip a reality. A big 'thank you' to Bryan Arceneaux & Richard Mills for setting up the trip.
