dude anytime any place if you feeling up to it. few weeks and ill be at my camp on bl. as far as your oyster deal you are just bored offshore with nothing to do. if someone who was knowledgeable and had the capability of handling something like your trying to do would step up then i would be behind them 100%. you are just too low on the totem pole for anyone to take a second look.

I signed it and I live 4 hours away, I've never fished big lake, probably never will unless I go with someone who fishes it often, I know how it is to have people ruin the recreational fisheries and make it harder to fish, I've fished after hurricanes and I've fished in rivers where the majority of boaters aren't fishers they're pleasure boaters and could careless to slow down for a person fishing and after the oil spill my favorite places to fish were closed for close to 6 months, thank God that is over and we are recovering from that nightmare. If the oyster fishermen are gonna screw up big lake, like all the commercial redfish fishermen screwed up and over harvested all over the gulf years ago, why not stop it?

Stayed out of this for sensitivity reasons. This is a tough subject to take in for someone who is trying to make their living.

Just a guess at her mindset is that "I'm trying to make a living and these folks are worried about a place to play."

Again, just my idea of their perception. Got $20 says she could probably whoop w. Got $20 more says it would be hilarious to witness!!!!

Pull up the tickets enforced by WL&F and compare them... We have 3 times the amount of guides than oyster fishermen... But oyster boats hold 10 xs the tickets issued... So who are the eye sores???? Its public records.... You don't see guide boats getting ticketed everyday for breaking the law...but oyster boats are getting them every week!!!
